The Late Victorian fashion era was defined by the later years of Queen Victoria's reign.
The bustle era had ended in 1889, and women's clothing was assuming a more natural form again.
This time period saw a great increase in the use of French cotton laces in construction of
blouses, dresses and whitewear. One prominent style of the time was the "Gibson Girl".
Books/movies covering this time period included the early Sherlock Holmes series.
