Period Robes and Shifts - May18

This commission was for a period silk velvet kimono style robe, an "Outlander" period silk shift, and "Poldark" period silk chemise.

The silk velvet kimono style robe is a new pattern based upon photos the customer had sent. The fabric was an exquisite silk velvet fabric. The upper bodice is lined in as closely matched fabric as I could find. The robe is sized for HID and EID woman - wearing heels.
Iplehouse HIDw Rebecca (small bust, peach) and Iplehouse EIDw Carina (medium bust, light brown) model the robe.

The silk shift was created with white 5mm Habotai silk in my usual "Outlander" style pattern. The sleeves are elbow length, with the hem below the knee. The casing at the neckline has a 2mm silk ribbon as the tie.
Iplehouse custom SIDw Doria (large bust, peach) models in her bare heel feet.

The "Poldark" period chemise pattern was also sewn with white 5mm Habotai silk fabric. The sleeves are also elbow length. The hem falls roughly mid-calf. The casing at the neckline has a narrow silk ribbon as the tie.
Iplehouse custom SIDw Doria (large bust, peach) models in her bare heel feet.

A prototype kimono style robe - sewn with poly charmeuse fabric was also included. My HIDw Rebecca again models this piece.
