#MLV5 $40. *SOLD*
This galabeeyah (caftan) was created based on a pattern of the 1890's and would have been
worn by Late Victorian Egyptians - or Elizabeth Peter's Ramses or Emerson characters - by
whom this was inspired.
This garment was created with mint color cotton broadcloth with two patterns of embroidery at
the neckline in green and navy. The sleeves are embroidered at the wrist, as is the hem in the
same navy. The galabeeyah has working pockets too!
It is donned by pulling over the head. There is sufficient room in the neckline to go
carefully over the head. The last photo shows EID Kamau putting on the galabeeyah.
This galabeeyah will fit best on Iplehouse EID men, Soom Idealian, or similar weighty 70cm dolls.
